As we all know, learning is looking a lot different this school year. Many schools are taking place online and parents are having to structure their lives around kids learning from home. While this is certainly a challenge for many who are lacking in curriculum and teaching skills , it also provides a unique opportunity for young people to explore new learning environments and modalities. Holistic ArtVentures is excited to offer support in a variety of ways to make learning successful and inspiring.

Havilah Rand is a certified Washington State Educator with a Masters Degree in Teaching and over 15 years of experience working with students of all ages in a variety of school settings. Coupled with her experience creating and leading programs centered around creativity and songwriting, Havilah has all the skills and experience necessary to support parents and students during this uncertain time. Services Offered

Academic Tutoring Online or In Person 3rd – 10th Grade $40 – $60 per hour

Havilah is endorsed in Secondary Social Studies and has experience teaching Language Arts and Reading to grades 3 – 8. Math and Science tutoring is available to grades 3 – 6. In person tutoring is available one on one or for pods of up to five students. All COVID-19 safety protocol is adhered to including mask wearing and daily temperature taking.

Voice and Songwriting Coaching $50 per hour

Havilah has over thirty years of experience as a professional vocalist and was trained both classically and in jazz. She utilizes a whole body approach to her coaching practice and integrating yogic breathing techniques and movement in a way that supports clients in using their voice in the most safe and effective way possible. She is available to coach both adults and children 8 years and older.

Young Songwriter Homeschool Camps and Workshops

Havilah’s Young Songwriter Programs can be integrated into a homeschool curriculum as artistic enrichment or as an extension to any academic curriculum. These programs are available live on zoom or as an online class. In person programs are limited to three participants and adhere to all COVID-19 safety protocol including mask-wearing and daily temperature taking.
