Greetings! Hope this post finds you anticipating the beginnings of spring.. only a teeny bit more than a month away! What keeps you inspired and creative during the long months of winter? For me it’s allowing myself to enjoy coziness and rest, lots of warm comforting meals along with encouraging myself to get out the door and into the fresh air no matter how much I might initially resist. I find that exercise and self care during months that make me feel sluggish also ward off the sluggishness of the creative mind. This way, I can make the best use of the extra indoor time by practicing and writing.
Spring is just around the corner though and I’m not only looking forward to the longer and sunnier days but also lots of travels bringing singing and songwriting far and wide. Check out my schedule and feel free to register by clicking on the links on the side bar or emailing me at havilahrand@gmail.com.
